THERESA STASTNY

Theresa hails from Omaha, Nebraska and is now based in Melbourne, Australia.

She has been a stylist for over 28 years. Her food styling career started in Chicago after a rewarding time as a chef. Today she works internationally as a food and prop stylist, recipe and product developer, consultant and art director.

Her background as a chef has assisted her knowledge immeasurably and is well supported by a wide range of experience in all aspects of the food industry. Her work includes all types of media including advertorial, editorial, FMCG, commercials, film, and social videos.

Styling and consulting for such a diverse array of clients and working with various new products in development provides Theresa the perfect opportunity to stay on top of the latest trends in this exciting and ever-changing industry. Working and travelling always feeds her passion. The respect for the beauty of food started at a very young age. Her family taught her a deep appreciation for the love of growing your own food and creating wonderful dishes to share. Her mother always told her not to play with her food… good thing she didn’t listen.
